NASHVILLE, TN-July 29, 2010—Power Source Music Group announces that the 16th Annual Inspirational Country Music Awards Show (ICM Awards) will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. CST at the Trinity Music City USA Auditorium located in Hendersonville, Tennessee. In addition, Megan Alexander, Correspondent for the national television show, "INSIDE EDITION”, will co-host the award show.

The annual Inspirational Country Music Awards are dedicated to honoring and showcasing the biggest names and emerging talent among artists who perform Christian and Inspirational Country music. Inspirational Country music is inspired by Faith, Family, and Country™.

The Inspirational Country Music Convention and Awards Show is a yearly event that draws music fans, broadcast media (radio, print, and TV) and the industry's top artists to Nashville to showcase music and to discuss industry related issues. The member-voted ICM Awards Show is the keynote event of Inspirational Country Week, slated for October 10-14, in Nashville, TN. About Megan Alexander
You see Megan every night as a Correspondent for the national television show "INSIDE EDITION," television's longest-running, top-rated and most-honored syndicated news magazine. She joined the show in fall of 2007 and covers everything from crime stories, the latest fashion trends and what the stars are up to. Megan has a knack for putting people at ease while entertaining and informing the public about the stories of the day. Megan also frequently appears on CNN Headline News “Showbiz Tonight” as a guest commentator.
Born and raised in Seattle, WA, she attended King's High School and was actively involved with the performing arts and musical theatre, singing and performing with a group called "Living Faith." Her first broadcasting job began with a classical music station in Santa Barbara, and then she headed to the music city of Nashville, TN where she worked in radio varying from Christian/Gospel, Pop and Country music. Megan debuted on television as part of the cast of “Tennessee Mornings on Fox 17.” She worked as a traffic reporter for MetroNetworks for the past two years. While in Nashville, Megan hosted a teen show for LifeWay Christian Resources called "Fuel." She also appears in country music artist Josh Turner’s music video “What it Ain’t” on CMT. Her film credits include the lead in the independent film “Something to Prove.”, and she wrote the theme song for the indie film “ Heaven Cent”.
Today, Megan is a regular contributing writer for NSIDE Business Journal and pens their "Business Coach" section. Megan emcees countless charity events and seminars around the country for organizations like Girls Quest, Girls Inc and Wings. Megan and her husband live in New York City, is active in her church and adores her golden retriever/ cocker spaniel mix, Indiana! Megan is proud to host the ICM awards and be a part of a show that encourages family-friendly, inspirational music and programming!
